The Saskatoon CANN chapter is excited to announce the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses 56th Annual Scientific Sessions and General Meeting. This conference aims to bring together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of neuroscience nursing to share knowledge, discuss innovations, and explore the latest advancements in patient care.

Conference Location: Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel  (612 Spadina Crescent East)

• Advanced Practice in Neuroscience Nursing
• Ethical and Legal Issues
• Leadership and Professional Development

Submission Guidelines:

• Abstract Length: Maximum 250 words
• Format: Structured abstracts with sections for Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
• Submission Deadline: Feb 28 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: March 14 2025

Submission Process:

3. Select submit abstract
4. Follow the prompts
5. Ensure all submissions are received by the deadline to be considered for review.

Presentation Formats:

• Concurrent - Oral presentation, 20 minutes in duration, 10 minutes for questions
• Plenary - Oral presentation, 45 minutes in duration, 15 minutes for questions
• Pecha Kucha - Oral presentation, 6 minutes in duration, maximum of 20-24 slides
• Workshops - Oral interactive presentation, 60-90 minutes in duration. Must include audience participation and learning objectives

We encourage submissions from all areas of neuroscience nursing, including clinical practice, research,

education, and policy. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work, network with peers, and

contribute to the advancement of neuroscience nursing.
